Conference registration and check-in, the Exhibit Hall and the Live Cybercast will be open Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in Bowie B/C.

Two special tours will be offered. Tour signups will open Oct. 16 online, so pay attention to the listservs and our Twitter and Facebook pages:

On Thursday evening, join your college broadcast peers and check out Transistordale to kick off your Halloween night. Bring your fits-in-a-suitcase costumes and enjoy a live, local band at a reception just for your new friends in college broadcasting from all over the country.

Advisers, be sure to check out the adviser-only social on Friday night. We’ll let you know when and where, and hope to see you all there to unwind a little.

Saturday means our Keynote Dean McFlicker at 2 p.m., then the presentation of the National Student Production awards, and one of the most important sessions of all: the CBI Membership meeting at 4 p.m.. CBI is a member-serving group, and without open discussions with our members, we aren’t able to serve you all as best we can. So please, make a point to stick around after the awards are announced to discuss your ideas for the future of CBI. Also, if you’re interested in helping us plan for 2014 in Seattle, make sure to attend the Convention Planning session on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in Bowie A.
