Emerson College to induct four into Hall of Fame
Emerson College in Boston is well known for its award-winning, student-run station, WERS 88.9. On Saturday, June 3, this will be further acknowledged when the station hosts its Ninth Annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony and honors alumni who have gone on to contribute significantly to the broadcasting industry.

Impact-sponsored music festival Bled Fest brings local acts for 13th year
For the second year in a row, Impact 89FM, MSU’s college radio, sponsored Stage C at Bled Fest and was also a vendor at the event.
Sarah Dropsey, the Promotions Director and co-host of the show Pity Party at Impact, said Bled Fest is a festival for college students from the cheap tickets to the punk bands.

College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) is accepting session proposals from all interested parties for the CBI 2017 National Student Electronic Media Convention to be held Nov. 2-4 at the
Hyatt Regency San Antonio.
CBI will consider all proposals from students, advisers, managers and industry professionals and gives strong preference to session proposals with more than one speaker and organization being represented. Session proposals can cover any topic related to electronic student media including the obvious and not so obvious. Multimedia presentations are encouraged. Registration is open for summer College Media Mega Workshop
- Registration fee for the Broadcast Management track is $199 for four days of workshops, training and special programs tailored specifically for student leaders and advisers for broadcast media outlets.
