Fall 2010 National Student Media Convention – Register now and save!

Every October/November, CBI partners with CMA and ACP to present the Fall National Student Media Convention.   The 2010 convention will be help at the Galt House (which is a great hotel!).

This is the largest student media largest convention! There is nothing like the CBI convention. CBI responsibly represents its members! The ~2250 attendees get it. This is not about homogenization, rather differences and commonalities and how we can benefit by sharing! The broadcast sessions will provide many opportunities for stations, students and advisers to focus on organizational development with an ear towards applicability in the career path.  This convention will have 80-100 broadcast/web specific events and sessions, including a number of round-tables where students can gather and share their ideas and identify common issues and solutions.  Legal issues, organizational issues, and technological issues are only a sampling of what is covered in this vast array of sessions primarily designed to help stations and their advisers advance their organizational goals.   The knowledge learned and applied during these sessions also lead to career growth, whether or not the students are planning a career in media.

This convention will be in Louisville (Oct. 27-31, 2010 ), Louisville, Ky. at the Galt House.
